        I love a good comedy like anyone else, but I especially love some of Peter Griffin's shenanigans. I have compiled a list of memorable quotes, moments, and lines from everyone's favorite father/oaf, Peter Griffin.

Can LeBron and the Cavs Beat the Warriors?

        The Cleveland Cavaliers have practically plowed through the competition in the Eastern Conference, going 12-2 during the Eastern Conference playoffs. This is in spite of losing Kevin Love in Game 4 of the first round to a shoulder injury and in spite of Kyrie Irving battling knee tendinitis. So now they face a Golden State team that has Stephen Curry on their team, the same Stephen Curry who shattered the NBA record for most 3-pointers made during a season (286). So the question is: Can LeBron and crew defeat the Warriors?
        Well, the good thing for the Cavs is that the Warriors are a bit banged up themselves. Stephen Curry suffered a head contusion on a hard fall in the Warriors-Rockets series and Klay Thompson suffered a concussion in that same series. Another good thing for the Cavaliers is that having an extra week off means that they can get more rest for their guys, more specifically Irving and LeBron. But this could actually work against them as well, the Warriors could use some of that rest. One other bright spot for Cleveland has been J.R. Smith; the shooting guard has averaged 4.9 rpg and 13.5 ppg this postseason in spite of karate-chopping Jae Crowder in the head during the Cleveland-Boston series.
        When asked on how to stop Steph Curry, LeBron simply said this: "You can't." So what Cleveland needs to do is not worry about Curry, but rather the rest of the team. Taking away his other options like Draymond Green and Klay Thompson will be the key for the Cavs to shock the world. But there is one problem: how do they get rebounds? Someone will have to step up if Cleveland wants to grab boards against the Warriors; Andrew Bogut has done an efficient job pulling down rebounds for the Warriors this season, averaging 8.1 rpg. With Kevin Love being out for Cleveland, this task gets a little bit harder to accomplish.
        Is it possible for Cleveland to win the NBA Finals? Yes it is. Anything is possible, especially if you have LeBron on your team. But Cleveland will have to use their entire arsenal in order to defeat Golden State. This will still be a fun series to watch, though.

        I know that the fascination over Toronto mayor Rob Ford has died down significantly since his infamous crack incident. But it never hurts to take a look at some his most memorable images. Let's give a shout-out to everyone's favorite mayor!

Looking at Some New NBA Logos

        A few teams of recent memory have come out with some new alternate logos for their respective teams. All of them hail from the Eastern Conference and all of them have either missed this year's playoffs or got eliminated in the first round. Anyways, let's take a look at these logos that have been introduced or you probably haven't seen at all.

Toronto Raptors:

        This logo looks a lot like a button; you could press the logo and see what happens. Might it also goes for the darker side of Raptors' basketball, perhaps? Anyways, it looks pretty cool. The one question that remains is this: Will the Raptors ever make the Eastern Conference Finals with this logo as an alternate?

Milwaukee Bucks:

        They made the deer look a lot meaner in Milwaukee. Now you know they're not messing around when they say, "Fear the Deer." This logo looks like something that a hunting enthusiast would put as a bumper sticker on the back of his pick-up. If you actually look at it closely, you'll see that the logo's colors represent a fellow professional Wisconsin team in the Green Bay Packers. Let's hope that they don't relocate and that's the last logo that they come out with.

Philadelphia 76ers:

        Now this is a baller logo. Nothing more sweet than seeing Benjamin Franklin drive to the rim. It looks like the 76er organization is teaching Philly fans some American history as well as trying to bring a winning basketball team to Philadelphia. Some say that this logo is corny and a bad representation of Ben Franklin; I say that it's simply awesome.

Fast Food Buy and "Bye"

        Today, I'm going to introduce to you a little segment called "Buy and "Bye". This is a segment that takes a look at what you should be trying that will eventually cause you problems down the road and what you should avoid altogether. To be honest, I don't know if this segment will be one that stands the test of time, but we'll give it a shot. This segment does not encourage obesity, but it encourages you to try different tastes and to explore your senses. Because this shit is slowly killing me.

BUY:

Wendy's Ghost Pepper Fries: Looking to awaken your senses? Looking to get rid of your sniffles? Try these ghost pepper fries from Wendy's. For a fast food item, it is seriously spicy. The spiciness of the ghost pepper isn't the only thing that's good about this item. The cheese on the fries is seriously good and it's only $1.99 before tax. This food item is a steal if you're in a hurry. 

"BYE":

McDonald's Cookies and Creme Frappe: When I heard that McDonald's was coming out with a Cookies and Creme Frappe, I immediately perked up. I, for one, am a big fan of anything "cookies and creme". However, I was very underwhelmed when I tasted the "cookies and creme" portion of the frappe. It tasted nothing like "cookies and creme!" If they had added Oreos to the frappe (I hope they do), then I'll be convinced. 

   

Clippers Choke Job

        All the Clippers needed was just one more quarter in Game 6 on Thursday night to make their first Western Conference Final in franchise history. That's it. Just one more quarter. They were up by 19 points in Game 6 in the second half and they were at home against the Houston Rockets. They had the series lead at 3-2 (at one point they were up 3-1 in the series on the Rockets) and were getting set to face the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals. Then, the fourth quarter happened.
        Corey Brewer of Houston came through with 19 points, 15 of them in the fourth quarter of that game, as the Rockets forced a Game 7 with a 119-107 win. James Harden didn't even have his best game; he shot 5-for-20 from the field and scored 23 points. Eleven of those points came on free throws. Dwight Howard did pull down 21 rebounds in that game to go along with twenty points, so that was a big boost. Houston outscored Los Angeles 40-15 in the fourth quarter to bring it home for Game 7. What happened in that game?
        The Rockets finished off the Clippers in yesterday's Game 7 by a score of 113-100. Harden had 31 points in that game while Howard had 16 points and 15 rebounds in that game. This is only the ninth time in NBA history that a team has come back from a 3-1 deficit to win the series. This instance was a bit different; the fourth quarter of Game 6 served as the turning point for the Rockets in the series and it's all thanks in part to Corey Brewer.
        Houston will now face the Warriors in their first Western Conference Final since 1997, when they lost to the Utah Jazz in six games. This match-up between the two teams will see a myriad of three pointers; both Houston and Golden State were tops this year in the NBA in average three pointers made (11.5 and 9.9, respectively). In fact, the last four teams in the playoffs make up the top four in this category.
        As for the Clippers, where do you place the blame? It might be easy to blame Chris Paul because he didn't have the best series. However, in those last two losses of the series, he had averaged 28.5 ppg and 10.5 apg. You could say that it was a team effort in this choke job. If they hadn't overlooked Corey Brewer in Game 6, none of this would've happened. Instead, all that will be remembered about this season for the Clippers is what could've been.

At the Buzzer...

        The Eastern Conference Semifinals currently has the feel of a particular basketball tournament in March. Thrilling upsets, shocking buzzer beaters, Cinderellas. It practically has it all and then some. We've already seen the last three Eastern Conference Semifinal games be won by buzzer beaters. Check out the three buzzer beaters right here:

        On Friday, Derrick Rose banked in the game-winning three-pointer to give the Bulls a 99-96 Game 3 victory and a 2-1 series edge. Rose had 30 points, seven assists, and seven rebounds in Game 3.

        In Game 3 of the Hawks-Wizards series, Paul Pierce hit a game-winning shot to help stave off a furious Atlanta comeback. The Wizards won that game 103-101 and currently have the series lead at 2-1. Pierce had 13 points and seven rebounds in the Wizards win.

        Not to be outdone by Rose, Lebron James hit a game-winning shot against the Bulls in a Cavs Game 4 win. Cleveland won 86-84 despite only scoring twelve points in the third quarter. As for James, he had 25 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists in the game.
        If you want to go even further, look at Game 7 of the Spurs-Clippers series from a week ago. Chris Paul hit this game-winning shot to propel the Clippers to the next round.

        For extra credit, we'll show you a buzzer beater in the Bulls-Bucks series that kept Milwaukee alive. Of course, Milwaukee got slaughtered in Game 6 of that series. However, it only proves how dramatic these NBA playoffs have been. This buzzer beating layup comes in Game 4 of the Bulls-Bucks series, courtesy of Jerryd Bayless.

Your Team Cheats

        In light of the "Deflategate" scandal and findings, I have found a site that depicts how every team has cheated in the NFL. Now I don't know if these are legit or not (Most likely yes), but there are some interesting accusations on here.         Some of the funniest offenses include "Arrowgate", "Slippygate" and the most common offense, "Cheapsgate". The Jacksonville Jaguars have the lowest "cheatscore" with a score of 12, while the Denver Broncos have the highest "cheatscore" with a score of 49. In the NFC, the Washington Redskins have the highest "cheatscore" with a score of 37, while the Arizona Cardinals have the lowest "cheatscore" with a score of 13.

Summary of this Weekend

        This weekend was one of the most jam-packed weekends for sports ever. It featured a thriller of a Kentucky Derby race that saw American Pharaoh win the race. It also featured a game-winning shot from Chris Paul that propelled the Clippers to a series victory over the defending champion San Antonio Spurs. It featured the NFL Draft and it featured Mayweather-Pacquiao, of course.
        The Clippers-Spurs series was a great series that had it all: Spurs take a 3-2 series lead and then lose on a game-winning shot by Paul in Game 7. Without a doubt, this was one of the more competitive series of the playoffs. In the four wins, Paul had 28.0 ppg and 8.5 apg. In the three losses, Paul had 15.7 ppg and 7.0 apg. He was out for Game 1 of the Conference Semifinals against Houston, but why did that matter? The Clippers won that game in Houston.
        The NFL Draft really saw no surprises. Jameis Winston goes No. 1, Marcus Mariota goes No. 2. Not many trades happened during the NFL Draft's first round and all the rumored trades (i.e. Jay Cutler to the Titans) that were discussed didn't happen.
        As for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, a lot of boxing purists criticized the fight, saying that there wasn't any blood. What were you expecting? Mayweather has a defensive style. Of those 48 wins in his boxing career, 26 of those were by knockout. If Pacquiao has his shoulder healed up, then this wouldn't have been as boring of a fight as boxing fans were saying. Of course, Mayweather's notorious for his defensive style and it consists of this:

        Boxing fans say that if he fought somebody who actually fights like Mike Tyson or Roberto Duran, then Floyd would've been KO'ed quickly. Or at least he would've been made to work even more than usual.

Scenes From Inside an Empty Camden Yards

        As you know or may have heard, last Wednesday's game between the Chicago White Sox and the Baltimore Orioles took place, but was closed to the public. This was due to the concerns regarding the rioting going on that stemmed from the death of Freddie Gray. The Orioles won by a score of 8-2, but the public didn't get a chance to view the experience for themselves. Here's some photos depicting the scene at Camden Yards Wednesday.
